US-Japan summit to take place on January 13
(VOVWORLD) - US President Joe Biden will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Washington next Friday to discuss North Korea, the conflict in Ukraine, and a “free and open Indo-Pacific,” the White House said on Tuesday.

According to White House statement, the meeting’s purpose is to deepen the relationship between the two governments, economies, and peoples.
This is Kishida’s first official visit to the US since he took office last October.
