(VOVworld) – A bird nest festival and the Nha Trang-Vietnam International Sea Tourism Fair opened on Saturday in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province in the framework of the Sea Festival 2013.

 The 2013 Khanh Hoa’s bird nest festival depicts the 680-year-old history of a traditional craft and includes art performances, symposiums and sea and island tours. Meanwhile, the Nha Trang-Vietnam International Sea Tourism Fair has 150 booths of tourist companies, hotels and tourism resorts inside and outside the country. Le Xuan Than is Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa province’s People’s Committee: "Our aim is to communicate about the sea and islands and fishermen’s lives, as well as the culture and beauty of the sea. Our message sent to everyone is love for the sea and islands, building and defending our sea and islands". 

The Sea Festival 2013 themed “the echo of the blue sea” will further introduce the culture, land and people of Nha Trang with more than 60 cultural and art activities.
