(VOVworld)- On Wednesday, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan participated in a VOV live program on the August Revolution and its lesson for national unity.

In the program, Mr. Nhan highlighted the strength of national unity during the Revolution, factors that enabled the Vietnamese Independence League to mobilized a mass movement to participate. Mr. Nhan said that the success of the August Revolution can be attributed to national unity and the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Nhan said in the current state of national construction and defense, to mobilize the public, the Party and State need to understand their aspirations first.
