(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan had a working session on Friday with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on activities to mitigate climate change and the implementation of a program to protect the environment. He said that thanks to the Ministry’s consultations, the government has mapped out important strategies and action plans for climate change adaptation and mitigation. He asked the Ministry to further cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front in activities related to natural resources of land, water, islands and sea, climate change mitigation, and the supervision of law enforcement in environmental protection, as well as the use and management of natural resources.
