(VOVworld) - Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan has left Yangon for Tokyo, Japan, to attend the 3rd global conference on natural disaster impact mitigation.

During her officially visit to Myanmar on Thursday, Doan met with Yangon governor who praised Vietnamese investment projects in Myanmar and pledged cooperation in activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year.
During discussion with Vietnamese businesses in Myanmar, the Vice President urged them to deepen understanding about local laws and culture to promote their investment in Myanmar. She also met the Vietnamese Embassy staff and visited the Hoang Anh Gia Lai trade center in Myanmar.
