(VOVworld) - Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan is visiting Germany before going to Greece to attend the Global Women’s Summit. Doan attended a ceremony to open Vietin Bank’s second branch in Berlin. Meeting with staff of the Vietnamese Consulate in Frankfurt and the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin, Doan said the Vietnamese community in Germany plays an important role in boosting bilateral ties.

Doan chaired a seminar on locating capital sources and opportunities in Germany jointly held by the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Vietinbank in Berlin. She affirmed that Vietnam, with its political stability, is an ideal environment for foreign investors. She added that the establishment of the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership last year created a new and important framework for boosting bilateral ties.
