Vice President visits revolution contributors in Quang Nam
(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh visited revolution contributors and students in Quang Nam province on Friday, in anticipation of Vietnam’s National Day September 2nd, and the new school year September 5th.

She presented gift packages each worth more than 100 USD to 50 outstanding revolution contributors, holders of the esteemed Hero of the People’s Armed Forces title, and war invalids.
Madam Thinh also granted scholarships worth 90 USD each, to 100 disadvantaged students who are the children of local fisherman, military officers and soldiers performing duties off the coast of Quang Nam.
Earlier, the Vice President and her entourage offered incense at the provincial martyrs’ cemetery and the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tam Ky city.
