(VOVworld)-The Vietnamese Association in France has held a Tet celebration in Paris. The event was organised in co-ordination with the Vietnamese Students’ Association (UEVF) and the Vietnamese Youth Association (UJVF) in France. It included art performance by youth members of different generations.

Viet Tet celebrated at UNESCO office

Therese Nguyen Van Ky is the chairwoman of the Vietnamese Association in France:“We have held the celebration annually and turned our hearts and minds to the homeland. Many young people have joined the celebration while the elderly take charge of the program design.”

Many French people have come to the UNESCO office to celebrate the Vietnamese Tet. Raymonde Dien was a strong protester against the war in Vietnam: “I joined the Viet Tet celebration in UNESCO every year. I love the country and people and wish Vietnam peace and happiness for development.”
