(VOVWORLD) - The New York State Department of Financial Services has granted an operating license to the Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) to open a representative office in New York.
The office, at One Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan centre, will open in the third quarter of this year.
In October 2018, Vietcombank obtained the US Federal Reserve’s approval to open an office in New York. Its net profit last year was over 790 million USD, up 61 percent from 2017.
