(VOVWORLD) - Budget carrier VietJet Air on Wednesday launched its new air route linking Ho Chi Minh City and the Indonesian resort island of Bali.

The launch ceremony was attended by Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Tourism Rizky Handayani, Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Ibnu Hadi, and ASEAN Ambassadors and Consuls General in Vietnam.
The Ho Chi Minh City-Bali route will operate five return flights per week, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. The flight time will be approximately four hours each way. Flights will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 08:05 and a return from Bali at 14:05.
