(VOVWORLD) -On Sunday in Vientiane, Laos, Vietjet airline launched a flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Vientiane, expanding opportunities for cooperation in economic and tourism development, and cultural exchange between two neighboring countries.

The Ho Chi Minh City-Vientiane route serves passengers with a frequency of four round trips per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with a flight time of 1 hour 45 minutes per route.
Operating a fleet of more than 105 airplanes with the number of passengers growing continuously every year, Vietjet is actively expanding its flight network.
On February 22, at the Singapore Airshow 2024, Vietjet airline and Airbus aircraft manufacturer signed a principle agreement to purchase 20 new generation A330neo wide-body planes.
