(VOVworld)- An international workshop themed “Vietnam- 40 years of reunification, development and integration” took place in Binh Duong province on Saturday attracting more than 500 scientists and researchers.

They discussed Vietnam’s national struggles for national independence and freedom and its achievements in development and integration. They urged Vietnam to strengthen administrative reforms, enhance international cooperation, improve human resource training and focus on key economic sectors. Documents about Vietnam’s war against French colonialists and American imperialists, the Southwestern border war and the East Sea issues were presented at the workshop. On the occasion, the Organizing Committee and the War Remnant Museum organized an exhibition showcasing more than 100 objects, documents and photos featuring Vietnam’s liberation struggles and socio-economic achievements
