Vietnam aims to soon become global agriculture power
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will strive for a growth rate of at least 6.5% next year and soon become an agriculture power with an advanced farm produce processing industry.

The targets were announced by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at an online meeting on Tuesday between the Government and localities nationwide. Mr. Phuc said all fundamentals are in place to accelerate growth from 2022.
“2021 will be themed ‘Unity, discipline, renovation, innovation, aspiration, and development’. We will work more resolutely and effectively to fulfill all targets set for next year to create a solid foundation for future development to make Vietnam a high-income country by 2045,” said the PM.
Mr. Phuc urged further efforts to streamline the state apparatus and prepare for new foreign investment flow.
