(VOVworld) – The national air carrier Vietnam Airlines on Sunday in Da Nang city officially opened its new international air route from Da Nang to Bangkok, Thailand.

There will be 4 flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and flight duration on the Airbus 321 is one hour 35 minutes. This is Vietnam Airlines’ 4^th flight from Da Nang international airport after flights to Siem Reap, Seoul and Tokyo. Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director General of Vietnam Airlines, said: "The opening of a new air route demonstrates determination and cooperation between the Vietnam Airlines and Da Nang People’s Committee in developing networks of domestic and international flights. The new air route will help Vietnam Airlines diversify its products, improve its competitiveness and realize its goal of becoming one of the leading aviation companies in Asia”.
