(VOVworld) – Vietnam Airlines opened a new route Tuesday from Hanoi to Haneda international airport in Tokyo. This is Vietnam’s 9^th direct route from Vietnam to Japan. The Hanoi-Haneda route will operate 7 flights per week. All flights will be on an Airbus A321 and depart Hanoi at 8 am.

New routes from Vietnam to Japan

Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Doan Xuan Hung said bilateral relations between Vietnam and Japan are reaching a peak of development. Cooperation between their aviation sectors will boost both economies.

Vietnam Airlines will also open a new route from Narita to Da Nang city on July 16 with 4 flights per week on an Airbus A321. The additional direct routes will increase the number of weekly flights from Vietnam to Japan to 61.
