The Ambassador thanked the US Government for donating COVID-19 vaccines to Vietnam, and expected the US would continue to support pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, especially vaccines for children, to help Vietnam completely control the pandemic.

The two sides discussed priorities in 2022 to further promote the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership, emphasizing the importance of reciprocal delegation exchanges at all levels.

Sherman highly appreciated Vietnam’s role and initiative in ASEAN, and expressed wish to raise the ASEAN-US relations to new heights.
