Vietnam ambassador to Japan: both countries’ leaders attach importance to Party leader Trong’s visit
(VOVworld) – Vietnamese ambassador to Japan Nguyen Quoc Cuong granted VOV an interview on Party leader Nguyen Phu Tron's visit to Japan. Ambassador Cuong said the visit’s purpose is to deepen the exclusive strategic partnership between the two countries. The Party leader will meet with Japan’s Emperor, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, leaders of major political parties in Japan and the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Alliance, and representatives of major economic groups and Japanese people to discuss ways to increase political trust and promote bilateral ties.
The ambassador said that Japanese leaders value Vietnam’s increasing position and role in the region and the world and both countries’ leaders attach great importance to the visit, whose success will contribute to peace, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
