(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung told Lao’s Vice President Bounnhang Volachit in Hanoi on July 9 that the traditional friendly relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries laid a firm foundation for further development in the future.

Mr. Hung committed the Vietnamese National Assembly to do its best to strengthen the special relationship and share its experience with the Lao parliament to revise Lao’s Constitution. He said Vietnam would support Laos to fulfill its role as Chair of ASEAN in 2016.
The two leaders agreed that the Vietnam-Laos long-lasting friendship should be nurtured for the growth of each nation.
