(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Laotian Friendship Association has received its Laotian counterpart in Hanoi. Speaking in the event on Saturday, the Association chief, Tran Van Tuy told Head of the Laos – Vietnam Friendship Association, Vilayvong Bouddakham, that the visit would boost traditional friendship, special relations and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

Both updated each others about their countries’ socio-economic development and agreed to co-organize a bilateral friendship festival next year and the issuance of publication in bilateral ties to increase mutual understanding between young people of Vietnam and Laos.
