(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Norway Le Thi Tuyet Mai has asked Norway to enhance bilateral cooperation and called on Norwegian enterprises investment in Vietnam.

Speaking at the conference “Opportunities to enhance Vietnamese-Norwegian relations” in Oslo, Mai said that Vietnam has made efforts to improve trade and investment environment to attract FDI, and promote free trade to achieve sustainable development goals. The Vietnamese government has been implementing specific tasks in the 5-year socio-economic development plan from 2016 to 2020. Tone Skogen, Norwegian State Secretary of Foreign Affairs, hoped to continue to boost Vietnamese-Norwegian cooperation, adding that both countries have potentials to enhance bilateral and multilateral ties in many fields. Norway will continue to create favorable conditions for Norwegian enterprises to do business in Vietnam.
