Vietnam applauds ILO support in policy making
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam praised the International Labor Organization’s support for Vietnam in policy making in labor standards, relations and social welfare.

Head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission Truong Thi Mai told the ILO Director, Chang Hee Lee, in Hanoi on Wednesday that Vietnamese agencies are striving to raise the minimum living standards for workers and their families. The ILO official shared Vietnam’s difficulties and held that minimum wage must correspond with workers’ fundamental needs. Both discussed revision orientations for the Labor Code in line with reality and needs from both employers and employees.
