Vietnamese Ambassador to Spain Ngo Tien Dung chaired the first meeting of the ACM in 2019. He said as the ACM Chair, Vietnam  devised a working plan for the Committee in 2019 covering politics-security, economics, culture and society, and promoting the image of ASEAN countries in Spain. The Vietnamese Embassy will, on behalf of ASEAN Countries, participate in some seminars on “Future of the Asia-Europe relation and ASEM process” involving famous Spanish universities and EC representatives in Spain. The ACM comprises of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. .
