(VOVworld) – State President Truong Tan Sang’s just concluded visits to Russia, the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan have helped foster relations with those countries.

Reviewing the President’s tour, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said the visits have achieved its goal of improving political trust to form a basis for economic, trade and investment ties. Mr. Minh said: “While meeting with leaders of those countries, the two sides spoke highly of political trust considering it a basis for developing economic, trade and investment ties. The President’s visits have reaped good results which help improve not only political but also economic and trade ties”.

The visits show Vietnam always attaches great importance to boosting multi-faceted cooperation with traditional friends like Russia, the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan and opened new cooperation opportunities for the benefits of those countries.
