Vietnam attends 10th Pacific Army Chiefs Conference in Seoul
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Pham Hong Huong attended the 10th Pacific Army Chiefs Conference (PACC) and the 41st Pacific Armies Management Seminar (PAMS) in Seoul on Monday.

The biennial PACC, this year themed "Unity of Effort: Building Civil-Military Partnerships in Land Force Response to Non-Traditional Security Threats", provides opportunities for Pacific countries to boost security cooperation. There were 2 working sessions: “Pacific Armies: Cooperation to deal with crisis”, and “Uniting soft powers in military and civil cooperation.” Vietnam’s presence at the events manifested its active role in regional and global issues as well as its hope of greater cooperation with other countries in addressing security challenges.
Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong had bilateral meetings with the delegation heads of the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, and the US.
