(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese delegation, led by Hoàng Bình Quân, Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Relations Commission, attended the 35^th anniversary of Sandinista revolution victory day in the Nicaraguan capital city of Managua on Saturday.
Addressing the ceremony, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega recalled the heroic struggle for national independence with Augusto Sandino’s ideology being the guiding star, which culminated in the victory on July 19, 1979, overthrowing the Somoza dictatorship. He insisted that Nicaragua will continue strengthening national unity to reduce poverty and improve co-operation with regional countries.
