(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s participation at the ongoing international fair of garment and textile arts (Artextil) will help Venezuelan people better understand Vietnam’s land and people and strengthen cultural relations. Venezuelan Minister of Culture Reinaldo Iturriza spoke last Saturday in Caracas at the opening ceremony of the fair, which will continue until the end of this week.

Vietnamese artisans will display their products and share their experience in textile production with the hosts and other exhibitors.

Venezuela praised Vietnam’s experience in handicraft, particularly textiles, calling the event an opportunity for Venezuelan artisans to share their professional skills with Vietnamese colleagues. Venezuela pays close attention to Vietnam’s efforts to preserve and promote its traditional craft villages.
