(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Le Linh Lan attended a forum on challenges facing Mexico and new TPP partners, organized by the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE) in Mexico capital city on June 29. The Ambassador highlighted the importance of TPP for Vietnam and Mexico.

On the sidelines of the signing ceremony on February 4, 2016, in New Zealand, representatives from Vietnam and Mexico signed an agreement to establish a Joint Committee on Economic, Trade, and Investment Cooperation. Answering local businesses’ queries on Vietnam’s market economy, Ms. Lan said Vietnam’s market economy status has been recognised by 45 nations worldwide. She called on Mexican enterprises to come to Vietnam to seek business and investment opportunities and anticipate opportunities brought by the TPP.
