(VOVworld) - The Prime Minister has approved Vietnam’s participation in a regional project funded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as part of efforts to implement the Stockholm Convention of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP).

The project, which will use non-refundable aid sourced by the Global Environmental Facility Fund (GEF), is expected to reduce the emission of POPs by Vietnamese industries.
