Vietnam, Australia strengthen defense ties
(VOVWORLD) - Lieutenant General Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on Monday received Rear Admiral Allan Du Toit, head of the Australian Defense Ministry delegation, who is in Vietnam to attend the seventh Vietnam-Australia Defense Consultation Channel 1.5.

Praising Australian support for Vietnam’s successful deployment of a field hospital to the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, Tien expressed his hope that Australia will continue to support Vietnam’s future deployments.
Highlighting the fine development of bilateral relations, Admital Du Toit said he is confident relations between the two ministries will continue to grow.
