Vietnam backs the non-proliferation and disarmament of nuclear weapons, as well as the right to peaceful use of nuclear energy as stipulated in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, which will be reviewed in the coming time, said Ambassador Nguyen Hai Anh, Chargé d’affaires to the UN.
Mr. Anh called on relevant parties to strictly and fully implement the JCPOA and UN Security Council Resolution 2231, exercise restraint and avoid actions that can erode trust and heighten tensions, and focus on dialogues to resolve differences.
