Vietnam, Bolivia to strengthen all-round affiliation

(VOVworld) – The Bolivian President Evo Morales and Vietnam’s Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan met in La Paz on Tuesday, stressing their determination to expand the countries’ multi-faceted cooperation for their mutual benefit. Vice President Doan, who was on an official visit to Bolivia on Monday and Tuesday, congratulated the Latin American country on its socio-economic accomplishments in the past decade, including a fair growth rate and improved living standards. She said that Vietnam attaches great importance to reinforcing solidarity and mutually beneficial multi-faceted cooperation with Bolivia, especially in energy, telecommunications and agriculture. She also thanked the Bolivian Government and people for their support to Vietnam historically and currently.
Also on Tuesday, Doan met with representatives from top Bolivian companies to present Vietnam’s business climate and investment opportunities. She made clear that Vietnam pledged favorable conditions for the two business circles to partner, ultimately bringing their economic relations up to par with the countries’ political ties.
