Vietnam boosts energy development cooperation with World Bank
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has received Ranjit Lamech, Regional Director of the World Bank's Infrastructure Department in the East Asia and Pacific Region, and Ousmane Dion, World Bank Country Director.

During the reception in Hanoi on Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister wished that the World Bank would continue helping Vietnam seek capital, offer technical consultation and build a policy mechanism so that the country could ensure sufficient and sustainable power supply for socio-economic development.
The guests expressed their impression on Vietnam’s success in energy over the past years, especially in renewable energy development. They suggested that Vietnam deal with difficulties in major power projects to put them into operation soon.
