Vietnam brings new dynamism to ASEAN: Malaysian Ambassador
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam, since joining ASEAN in 1995, has brought new dynamism to the organization, Kamsiah Kamaruddin, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN told a Vietnam News Agency reporter in Jakarta.

She said Hanoi has brought new ideas for building a stronger ASEAN, adding that Vietnam is among the most dynamic economies and has greatly contributed to ASEAN’s development.
Ms. Kamaruddin said Vietnam has done a good job as ASEAN Chair and has shown leadership by boosting ASEAN cooperation in fighting and recovering from COVID-19.
She added Vietnam is prioritizing women, children, and sustainable development.
