(VOVworld) – Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Vice Standing Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council, paid a Lunar New Year visit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu expressed his hope that the VFF will effectively implement social movements to rally the people in on national unity bloc. He said the Sangha has actively engaged in environmental protection, poverty reduction, assistance to people in remote areas and those affected by natural disasters.
He said Buddhist followers will continue to participate in the VFF’s work contributing to national development.
