(VOVworld) – On Sunday in honor of the upcoming Lunar New Year festival, a delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) delivered 500 gift packages worth 25,000 USD to Vietnamese Buddhists and impoverished Cambodians living in Phnom Penh.

Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, General Secretary of the VBS Executive council, said the VBS will continue coordinating with the Cambodia Buddhist Sangha in implementing humanitarian activities to support impoverished Buddhist followers in Cambodia, fortifying the friendship between the two countries.
