(VOVworld) – Building smart urban areas and smart government towards building a smart country was the topic of talks on Wednesday between President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan and members of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Nhan noted criteria for a smart urban area and 4 basic solutions to build it. He stressed the need to build an administration which can ensure sustainable development, prevent crises, and involve people in management.
He asked the Ministry to quickly design a smart city development project and promote communications on e-government.
