Son made the statement at a panel discussion during the Transforming Education Summit on Monday in New York. He called for equality in access to a quality education in the coming period.

Teaching methods and content may change, but the key is helping students orient themselves and develop a firm foundation of life-long fundamental values, said Son.

On the sidelines of the summit, Son had bilateral meetings with Miguel Cardona, US Secretary of Education, and the World Bank’s Global Director of Education to discuss ways to increase future cooperation and investment in education.
