Vietnam calls for international support for the Central African Republic
(VOVWORLD) - The UN Security Council held an online meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in the Central African Republic.

At the conference, Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy, head of Vietnam’s mission to the UN, emphasized the importance of support from the international community for the Central African Republic in maintaining peace, preparing for elections, resolving humanitarian issues, and coping with the COVID-19 crisis.
Ambassador Quy stressed the need to ensure the security and safety of peacekeepers and humanitarian workers operating in the Central African Republic.
