Vietnam calls for more Korean investment in specialized industrial parks
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue says Vietnam encourages businesses from the Republic of Korea (RoK) to invest in specialized industrial parks targeting Korean firms and Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises.

Mr. Hue received Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (KBIZ) Kim Ki-mun in Hanoi on Thursday. He asked the KBIZ to work with Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment and localities to implement such projects. The Deputy PM also proposed that the KBIZ help Vietnam improve the skills of local workers. Mr. Kim said the RoK is constructing industrial parks in other countries based on its New Southern Policy and Myanmar, and Vietnam are two of its destinations.
