The Prime Minister said the visit would contribute to enhancing bilateral ties between Vietnam and Cambodia. He praised the outcome of talks between the two Foreign Ministries and urged them to develop a plan to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2017. He asked the relevant ministries of both countries to boost their economic, cultural, and technological cooperation through the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee.  He stressed the need to ensure that the conference on cooperation and cevelopment of the border provinces of Vietnam and Cambodia will take place as scheduled. Phuc urged the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help overseas Vietnamese to stabilize their lives and enhance their contributions to Cambodia.
