Vietnam capable of testing 8,000-10,000 samples a day: Ministry of Health
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam is capable of testing from 8,000 to 10,000 samples each day, said the Ministry of Health on Wednesday as the country is bracing for more complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.

At an online meeting of the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Health Ministry said Vietnam now has sufficient equipment, facilities, and protective gears for treating the Covid-19 patients and continues preparedness for the latest developments of the disease.
The Ministry of Defense told the meeting that the army has prepared enough quarantine areas, continue to implement the motto “fighting the epidemic is fighting the enemy”, and is ready to take the lead in all circumstances to safeguard the people.
Chairing the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam emphasized the goal of curbing the infection cases to below 1,000 and minimize losses of people’s heath and lives. He called on every individual to strictly follow the health sector’s instructions to prevent themselves from the Covid-19.
