(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese enterprises have invested over 25 million USD in 17 new projects abroad in the first two months of 2024, according to the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Investors’ capital focused on eight industries, with the leaders being wholesale and retail (40%), real estate businesses (21.5%), and construction (20%).
11 countries and territories received investment from Vietnam, with the United States accounting for 26.6% of investors’ capital, followed by New Zealand, Germany, Laos, and China.
As of February 20, Vietnam had 1,716 valid investment projects abroad, with a combined capital of over 22.1 billion USD.
