Vietnam confirms ninth case of nCoV infection

(VOVWORLD) - A man in the northern province of Vinh Phuc has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (nCoV), the 9th confirmed case in Vietnam so far, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced on Tuesday morning.

The 30-year-old, who lives in Minh Quang commune, Tam Dao district, was one of 8 Vietnamese workers attending a training course in Wuhan, China, the epicentre of the nCoV epidemic. The man returned to Vietnam on January 17 on a China Southern flight. He and four others of his group have tested positive for the virus.

He is being isolated and receiving treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh district, Hanoi, and is currently in stable condition.
