At a reception for Park Soo-kwan, Honorary Consul General of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Busan-Gyeongnam region, Ms. Ngan said Vietnam considers successes of Korean businesses its own successes. She urged the Honorary Consul General to boost cooperation and exchanges between local governments and between businesses of the two countries. Mr. Park said the Republic of Korea considers Vietnam an important partner and Vietnam needs Korea’s economic development experiences.  He added that Vietnam is a desirable destination for Korean businesses in the potential Southeast Asian market.
