(VOVworld) – Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty recognized the growing defense cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba in recent years.

Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty spoke at a reception Monday in Hanoi for Cuban Major-General Roberto Rodriguez Dpico, chief of the logistics department under Cuba’s Western Army. Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty congratulated Cuba for its recent achievements and highlighted the traditional friendship between the two countries.
Major-General Roberto Rodriguez Dpico thanked Vietnam for its support in lifting the embargo on Cuba. He said Cuba is always ready to assist and co-operate with the Vietnamese army and people to the best of its ability.
