Vietnam, Cuba to strengthen foreign affairs cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and Cuba will work with other ministries and sectors to effectively implement high-level agreements between the two countries, said Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son at a meeting with Cuban Acting Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina in Havana on Sunday.

The two officials agreed to continue carrying out the political consultation mechanism at the deputy foreign minister level amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and strengthen cooperation and mutual support at international organizations and forums like the United Nations.
Son and Medina witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and Cuba’s Raúl Roa García Higher Institute of International Relations.
