(VOVworld) – Vietnam Culture Day 2014 is a great opportunity for Russian people and international friends living in Russia to better understand the rich and diverse Vietnamese culture. Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh made the remarks at the event’s opening ceremony in Moscow on Wednesday. He expressed his hope that the event lead to further development of the two countries’ cultural and art cooperation and exchanges while enhancing Vietnam-Russia solidarity, friendship, traditional cooperation, and comprehensive strategic partnership. As part of the event, a round-table discussion on cultural and art cooperation and promotion and a tourism promotion program were held, while a Vietnamese film week opened in Moscow on Thursday.
