(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia hosted a cultural and culinary exchange in Kuala Lumpur on Friday to introduce the diversity of Vietnamese culture and dishes to international friends.

The event also offered an opportunity for ASEAN Women Network in Kuala Lumpur to meet and learn more about the typical characteristics of gastronomy of other nations around the world.

Van Thi Le Hien, the spouse of the Vietnamese Ambassador, expressed her hope that the exchange will help deepen mutual understanding and solidarity among ASEAN people including ASEAN women, contributing to building a peaceful, stable, and prosperous ASEAN Community, especially against the context the ASEAN Economic Community will be established later this year.
