A second round of negotiations is scheduled for next year. Chief negotiator Le Tien, who is also Director of the International Cooperation and Criminal Judicial Assistance Department of the Supreme People’s Procuracy, said: “The negotiations are aimed at completing a legal framework for fighting crime, consolidating judicial cooperation between the two nations, and protecting the rights and interests of Vietnamese citizens living in the Czech Republic.”
