Vietnam, Denmark celebrate diplomatic ties
(VOVWORLD) - Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the Danish Crown Prince and Crown Princess attended a ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Denmark diplomatic ties, an event postponed from last year due to COVID-19.

In her address, Vice President Xuan highlighted the development of bilateral ties from traditional cooperation to comprehensive partnership in 2013.

Ms Xuan said: "The world is facing several unprecedented challenges requiring the international community to strengthen cooperation to overcome challenges to recover and grow. Vietnam and Denmark have great potential for further cooperation. Based on our current cooperation mechanism and to-be established legal frameworks, our cooperation is expected to become more effective and practical."
Crown Prince Frederik said during the visit, Danish businesses pledged to cooperate with Vietnamese partners to work out solutions to sustainable development. The Crown Prince said Denmark will accompany Vietnam in its path toward green, sustainable development.
